prophecies white mantle peacekeepers - Guild Wars Forums

quick question. i've completed the main storyline in prophecies however i have not run to the temple of ages in kryta yet. i'm trying to get there now however the peacekeepers are now stopping me from getting there. my problem is that the henchies available from nearby outposts are all level 12 only and wipe very easy against the level 20 opponents.

so i literally can not get past them all. anyone else have this problem and found a solution? is getting a PUG together the only way?

mmm been a while since i needed to get to TOA but,

Are younot given at least 2 level 20 allies when you leave either LA or bergen on your travels to there im possitive you get those along with your normal party,

When you leave dont run straight away move a little and im sure you will obtain an ally or 2 at each portal

If Peacekeepers are spawning, I think it means you have something WiK-ish active. Try abandoning that and it should make it loads easier. You can always pick it up again after you unlock the outposts you want.

War in Kryta content is really meant to be played by a full party of lvl 20s. Without heroes or PUGs, I don't think you'll be able to get anywhere.

Since WiK requires EotN to play out, why not go and get the heroes there?

If you don't have EotN, consider finding a PUG, and getting all of WiK done. That way, you won't have the White mantle spawning any more.

Having finished only either Prophecies or EotN is enough to have Piecekeeper/White Mantle spawns.

Though the not-lvl20 henchmen in NM r crappy, if u and your 3 Heroes r good enough its managable.
I usually took Alesia and Dunham, the 2 melee Henchman die faster then Dunham.

Shining Blade or Ebon Vanguard allies spawn only per one, except Shining Blade Recruits, u get 2 or 3 of those.
Personally, i found all Shining Blade allies least usefull.
The Ebon Vanguard Allies r better.

If your one of many who havnt yet actually started wik ( just done prophs or eotn ) then its often easier to find a runner who can get you to toa ( guildie etc ) and easier is to team up with someone who`s chr hasnt done either as wik spawns only spawn if all party members meets the req.I keep my derv runner away from any campaign completition for this reason and i can run guildies etc with no unwanted wik spawns.
After a while you will actually get used to wik foes - yes at first they do pose a problem as their skill sets are a challenge but they do get easier.

@Iuris - as far as im aware without EOTN you cannot finish wik or even get the dialogs done as wik requires both prophs and eotn. ( trial of zinn , recruiting ebon vanguard , recruiting zinn , kierans scavenger hunt are all eotn )
